As you can see.....Edward my cyber hamster is no longer with us.
There was a tragic blender accident and, sadly, Edward perished.... but at least I could make Mike a nice smoothy...

Ms.Deserting-My-Country-For-A-Warmer-One
I think that this is a better name for me than the one Dave gave me this morning...which substituted "warmer" for "better"...
beacause I'm leaving THIS:

for THIS:

Anyways..
I leave on Sunday..it's Tuesday. Can you believe it? There were so many things I wanted to do while I was here that I never got the chance to do...like visit Edmonton..and see my sister in Lethbridge. But what can you do? Nothing I guess...besides go backin time and try again (if anyone invents a timetravel device, let me know...)
I wish also that I could have had more time with all of you here in Calgary...the times we did hang out were awesome...but I was always working! :(
It's a wierd thought knowing that this time next week I'll be getting patted down by customs agents in Sydney, Australia...
All nerves aside...I'm totally excited. But it's all not real to me yet. Not at all. Even though my bags are packed and I have no job...even still.
This really freaks me out...that I'm leaving for so long...and that as soon as I'm gone I can be deemed homeless...the fact that I have no idea what I'm doing afterwards scares me...but looking back at everything thats happened to get me this far...I know that God's going to take care of me. Something will work out and I know that what He has planned is WAY better than anything I could ever think of or plan on my own. There are just so many OPTIONS and places I could go!
All I know is I'm going to Australia in 5 days and will probably spend the first 10 days straight in my hot new bathing suit. On this beach... :)
